Individual Tickets
Individual tickets may be purchased by phone at 801-581-7100, online at artstickets.utah.edu, or at the Performing Arts Ticket Office (located in Kingsbury Hall) in advance of the production. For group/bulk discount info, visit the "Discounts and Group Purchases" section below.

ArtsPass/U of U Student Tickets
- Current U of U students may receive a free ticket through ArtsPass to each of our official productions by presenting a valid U Card . Tickets must be obtained in advance by visiting the Performing Arts Ticket Office (located in Kingsbury Hall), at artstickets.utah.edu, or by calling 801-581-7100.
- Tickets may also be available at the venue box office, which opens one hour before showtime. Arts Pass tickets may be subject to availability and processing times, especially for high-demand events.
- When possible, please try to obtain Arts Pass tickets at least two business days in advance.
Wait List Tickets
A small number of wait list tickets may be available for sold out shows. Wait lists may not be available for some performances.
- Wait list requests must be made in person at the venue—not the main box office at Kingsbury Hall.
- If a wait list is available, it will open half an hour before showtime.
- To be added to the list, speak to a member of our House Management team.
- If wait list tickets become available, they may be released for purchase starting five minutes before showtime (or at the House Manager's discretion).
- Wait list tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis at the House Manager's discretion.
- All members of a party must be present to claim wait list tickets.
Discounts and Group Purchases
To inquire about group or bulk purchase discounts, contact Aaron Swenson at 801.585.3816 or by emailing at least one week in advance. Requests made on shorter notice may still be considered, but are subject to availability and processing times.
Due to technical concerns and economic factors beyond our control, we are suspending sales of our Season FlexPass until further notice. Any future discounts will be offered in conjunction with efforts and initiatives to expand arts access, communication, and connection throughout our community. Policies and Procedures
HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY
In order for us to continue sharing live performance experiences with our U Theatre community, we ask our audience members to read and respect the following guidelines:
- For the continued health and safety of performers, crew, and community members, audience members who still wish to wear masks are encouraged to do so, especially those at high risk of severe illness.
- We ask that you refrain from attending if you have been exposed to COVID-19 or are otherwise feeling unwell.
- Pending availability, tickets may be exchanged for later showtimes by speaking to a box office representative.
- As a reminder, students who attend the University of Utah are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Vaccination and boosters are the best way to protect yourself and our campus community.

LATE SEATING POLICY
The Department of Theatre is committed to providing a safe, enjoyable experience for our patrons as well as our theatre artists. As such, late seating may not be permitted at all productions. If a performance is delayed for any reason, late patrons may be seated before the performance begins at the discretion of the House Manager. Venues and Parking
Babcock Theatre
The Babcock Theatre is on the lower level of Simmons Pioneer Memorial Theatre, located at 300 South University Street (1400 East), across the street from Rice-Eccles Stadium.
Parking for Patrons With Disabilities
For patrons with disabilities or who have difficulty making the walk from the Rice-Eccles Stadium, a wheelchair ramp has been installed from the sidewalk on 1400 East to the west entrance of the Simmons Pioneer Memorial Theatre. A limited number of accessible parking spaces are also available for in the parking lot to the north of the Simmons Pioneer Memorial Theatre building, accessed from President’s Circle.
Parking Options Within a Two-Block Radius
There are numerous parking options within a two-block walk of the theatre, all of which are free. These include:
- Free street parking on University Street to the west of Simmons Pioneer Memorial Theatre. Available after 6:00 p.m.
- The small parking lot just off President’s Circle directly, to the north of the theatre. Enter from President’s Circle.
- The parking lot immediately to the north of the Fieldhouse—accessed by turning north at the traffic light on South Campus Drive just to the east of Rice-Eccles Stadium—which contains 120 parking spots, and is a short half block walk from the theatre. This parking lot offers the advantage of allowing you to turn east on South Campus Drive when you leave after a performance.
TRAX
Patrons can ride TRAX straight to the Stadium Station on the University Line.
Studio 115
Studio 115 is located in the Performing Arts Building at 240 South 1500 East, directly west of the University Bookstore.
- Paid parking is available in the Visitor Lot directly south of the theatre.
- Free parking is available at Rice-Eccles Stadium, on President’s Circle, or in the small parking lot just off President’s Circle directly west of the theatre.
