How to Purchase
- In-person ticket purchases can be made at the Pioneer Theatre Company Box Office, located at 300 S. 1400 E. on the University of Utah campus. Tickets can also be purchased at the venue box office, which opens one hour before showtime.
- Individual tickets may be also purchased by phone at 801-581-6961 or purchased online.
- With a valid Arts Pass (UCard), current University of Utah students receive:
- One (1) free ticket per day of the productions in the Meldrum Theatre. A second ticket to the same day can be purchased for $10.50. This means, you can attend the show more than once for free!
- One (1) free ticket per run of the productions in Babcock and Studio 115. A second ticket to the same production can be purchased for $10.50!

Arts Pass/U of U Student Tickets
Current U of U students may receive a free ticket through Arts Pass to each of our official productions by presenting a valid U Card. A second ticket to the same production can be purchased for $10.50. Arts Pass tickets can be purchased in advance or on the day of the performance.
You can redeem your Arts Pass tickets in two ways:
- Presenting your U Card at the main box office at Pioneer Memorial Theatre
- presenting your U Card at the venue's box office. Venue box offices open approximately one hour before showtime.
- Arts Pass tickets are subject to availability and processing times, especially for high-demand events.
With a valid Arts Pass (UCard), current University of Utah students receive:

- Complimentary ticket exchanges—if you need to move to another showtime, you can do so with no exchange fee
- “Ticket Insurance”—if you lose your tickets, we will reissue them at no charge

FlexPass
Flex Pass
If you like to keep your options open, the FlexPass is for you. Our Flex Pass gives you the same discount as a Season Pass, but with 100% more flexibility. You can use your tickets for any show, any showtime, and in any combination. Redeem all eight admissions for a single show, or spread them out over the season—it's up to you! Flex Pass holders enjoy the following benefits:
- 8 admission vouchers
- Can be used for any Department of Theatre performances during the 23/24 Season
- Flex Passes can be used to purchase tickets for other people

To inquire about bulk purchases, complimentary tickets, and discounts for education, charitable, and non-profit groups, contact
- Requests should be made at least one week in advance
- Requests made on shorter notice may still be considered, but are subject to availability and processing times

Ticketing & Patron Policies
- All ticket sales are final and cannot be refunded.
- Individual ticket holders can move their tickets to another showtime for a $2.50 fee. Season Pass and Flex Pass tickets can be exchanged with no fees.
- No admittance to children under five unless specifically indicated. No babies in arms or lap-sitting.
- The use of cameras or recording equipment is strictly prohibited.
Health & Safety Policy
In order for us to continue sharing live performance experiences with our U Theatre community, we ask our audience members to read and respect the following guidelines:
- For the continued health and safety of performers, crew, and community members, audience members who still wish to wear masks are encouraged to do so, especially those at high risk of severe illness.
- We ask that you refrain from attending if you have been exposed to COVID-19 or are otherwise feeling unwell.
- Pending availability, tickets may be exchanged for later showtimes by speaking to a box office representative.
Late Seating Policy
The Department of Theatre is committed to providing a safe, enjoyable experience for our patrons as well as our theatre artists. As such, late seating is not permitted unless specifically indicated otherwise. If a performance is delayed for any reason, late patrons may be seated before the performance begins at the discretion of the House Manager. If we are unable to seat you, you may contact the box office for a refund or exchange depending on availability.
