The Theatre Minor provides students with the opportunity to explore many aspects of the theatre from acting to stage management, history to playwriting. Students begin by taking THEA 1713: Script Analysis, the foundation of the art form and a requirement for all Majors and Minors. Guided by a faculty mentor, Theatre Minors then create individualized courses of study depending upon areas of interest (e.g., acting, playwriting, design, or literature). All Theatre Minors are encouraged to meet with a faculty advisor at least once every academic year to discuss progress, select courses, and update their progress checklist.
