Barbara Smith, MFA/BFA (Associate Professor (Lecturer) – MFA from the University of Utah. She teaches in Department of Theatre for University of Utah and Westminster College. She is active in the theatre scene locally, acting and directing. She performed in How I Learned to Drive, The Two Gentlemen of Verona, A Comedy of Errors, Last Lists of My Mad Mother, Steel Magnolias, Macbeth, Sordid Lives, House of Bernarda Alba, All My Sons, Summer and Smoke, The Cherry Orchard, Night of the Iguana, Equus, A Lie of the Mind, Anna Christie, The Crucible and Hamlet. She has also performed for The Classical Greek Theatre Festival in Elektra, Iphigenia at Aulis Hippolytus, Trojan Women, and The Bakkhai. Her directing credits include Hecuba, And Then There Were None. Fever, Macbeth, Helen, Endgame, John Lennon and Me, Antigone, Picnic, Come Back to the 5 & Dime Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean, and Bus Stop.
